Two P2P orders cancelled already today, and now the third one looks wrong as well. Cancel it and the day's allowance is gone. Binance Support has it in writing: a taker buyer can cancel for buyer reasons up to 3 times per day, and orders the system cancels or lets expire come out of the same three.
Go past the limit and your P2P functions are suspended, with no more orders that day until 24:00 UTC+0. On the clock that is 04:00 the next morning in Dubai and 05:30 in India. You are the taker if you picked an advert off the list and placed the order; the maker is whoever posted the advert and waited for someone to take it.
Binance P2P cancellation limits by reason
Note 4 under "Important Note" on How to Cancel Your Binance P2P Buy Order? lists three cancellation reasons. Its English version is dated 29 December 2025 (the version read in October 2026).
| Why the order was cancelled | The cap as written | What else the page says |
|---|---|---|
| Buyer reason | Taker buyers: up to 3 times per day, system cancellations and expired orders included | An order cancelled by system timeout affects the buyer's completion rate |
| Seller reason | Taker buyers: 3 chances "in one natural day"; maker buyers: no limitation | The seller must tap [Accept] within 10 minutes, or the system confirms the cancellation |
| Additional KYC not completed | Cancelled by system time-out, up to 3 times per day | Nothing further |
Two things this table can't settle, because the page doesn't say. One is whether the three rows draw on a single pool of 3 or each keeps its own count. The other is which time zone's midnight "per day" and "one natural day" run from. Only the sentence about when the suspension ends carries a time zone.
Then there is a point where two pages disagree. The cancellation page says the suspension follows "exceeding above limits". The app tutorial for buying on P2P (updated 2026-03-14) says "if you cancel three orders in a day, your buy crypto function will be suspended for that day". So is it the third cancellation that trips it, or the fourth? Read together, the two sentences don't pin it down. The safe reading is to treat the third as the line: with two cancellations behind you today, don't open a third order on the idea that you can always back out.
To check all this yourself, open the cancellation page, find the Updated date under the title, then scroll to "Important Note". The page has three tabs, App, Website and Merchant Portal. The steps quoted further down come from the App tab.
Does a timed-out Binance P2P order count as a cancellation?
Yes. The bracket in the rule reads "system cancelation/expiration will be countable in these 3 chances". Placing an order and letting the payment timer run out is booked against the same three as tapping cancel yourself.
A timeout also costs something a manual cancel may not. The same page says that if the order is cancelled due to system timeout, the buyer's completion rate will be affected. For a manual cancel it names one case that leaves the rate alone: you have messaged the seller in chat, 15 minutes go by without a reply, and then you cancel. Look at what that sentence covers, though. Completion rate, yes. The count of three, not a word.
Cancelling by hand in the app is three steps:
- Tap [Cancel the Order] on the order page.
- Select your cancellation reason and tap [Confirm Cancellation]. The reason can be a buyer one or a seller one.
- If you chose a seller reason, you may need to wait for the seller to confirm it. Once they receive the request they must tap [Accept] within 10 minutes, or the system confirms the cancellation automatically.
With only three to spend, the saving is made before the order exists. What to settle first is in Buy USDT on Binance P2P: checks before you pay, or run the P2P order precheck, and place the order only once you know the payment can actually go out.
What time can you place P2P orders again after the suspension?
The page's words: "you won't be able to place any more orders on that day until 24:00 UTC+0."
For a cancellation suspension ending at 24:00 UTC+0, the wait depends on when it starts. If it starts at 21:00 in Dubai (UTC+4), that is 17:00 UTC, leaving seven hours. At 03:30 in India (UTC+5:30), it is 22:00 UTC the previous day, leaving two hours.
Whether the count of cancellations also goes back to zero at that moment, the page doesn't say.
Lifting the suspension early: what you have to submit
You can apply to have it lifted early. Section I of How to Lift My Binance P2P Account Suspension? (updated 2025-12-29) covers a suspension "due to 3 - 5 times order cancellation". That page says 3 to 5 and the cancellation page says up to 3 a day, so the numbers on the two don't match. The steps: log in to your Binance account, go to the P2P Suspension Lift Application page, enter the order details and supporting documents, and click [Submit].
Suspensions for other reasons go through the [Restrictions Removal Center]. On the website it is [Trade] - [P2P], then [P2P User Center], then the [Restrictions Removal Center] tab; in the app, [P2P] - [Profile] - [Restrictions Removal Center]. With nothing against your account it shows [No restrictions found]. With a restriction it lists the suspended function, the reason, the case ID, the effective suspension time and the status, and [Submit appeal] sits next to it. If self-service doesn't cover the reason, the status reads [Appeal unavailable] and you are passed to Binance Support.
What you hand over depends on the reason. The page lists these:
- A KYC video
- Relevant P2P order numbers (optional, up to 10)
- Video payment proof
- Bank statements for the latest 3 months
- Supporting documents, such as chat records and payment receipts
According to the page, Binance will review the application within 30 minutes and send the result by SMS or email. While one appeal is under review, you can't submit another.
There is a sum to do here, and it is in hours. If you ran out three or four hours before 24:00 UTC+0, then recording videos, digging out statements and sitting through a review may not win back more time than it eats, and waiting is the cheaper option. The paperwork earns its keep when ordering is ten-odd hours from reopening and you really do need to buy today.
Already paid: can you still cancel the order?
Don't. Note 1 on the cancellation page: "Please do not cancel the order if you have already paid the seller." The app tutorial adds the single exception: do not tap [Cancel] "unless you have already received a refund from the seller in your payment account".
If a seller tells you in chat to cancel and promises to send the money back afterwards, the official wording runs the other way round: the refund reaches your payment account first, and only then do you tap [Cancel].
The same tutorial has a rule facing the opposite direction: do not tap [Transferred, Notify seller] or [Confirm Payment] unless you have paid the seller. Keeping the conversation inside the order, along with the other anti-scam habits, is covered in Binance P2P safety: confirm payment, then release.
None of the three official pages mentions a charge or a fee for cancelling. What gets used up is the count, plus completion rate if the order timed out. With two cancellations already behind you today, make sure the money for this one can go out before you place the order.
