Why this is not a pass guarantee
Glare, cropped corners, and expired proofs live outside “you picked the right type”. The right type still fails a bad photo. Review is not guaranteed.

Who it is for
A first KYC submit, or anyone sent back who cannot tell whether to change the document or change the photo.
Do mainland users only use a national ID
When the page lists a national ID, that is usually the least friction. Whether a passport is open that day is a page question, not a desk promise.
